Lenten Appeal 2017

Monastery General Fund Gift

Your gifts to the general fund of the monastery support more than 20 Abbey's Benedictine monks in their daily lives of prayer and ministry as well in their ongoing education, personal development, and pastoral outreach. The general fund also takes care of the Abbey's grounds and buildings, including the retreat center, youth center and chapel, ceramics studio, and books and gifts store. Additionally, the general fund advances the Abbey's information technology infrastructure and operations..

Monastic Housing Building
Fund Gift

Your gifts will help build new and supportive housing for the Abbey's sick and elderly monks, who have dedicated their lives to prayer, work, and hospitality. Donations will complete the final phase of a capital campaign and will allow for the construction of a handicapped-accessible, four-bedroom, one floor building by 2017.

Charity Appeal

During this Jubilee Year of Mercy, I invite you to join us in our mission, which is the mission of the Church, to help us care for the poor and destitute who find their way to the Abbey looking for assistance, God, and hope.

Even the smallest gift will make a difference in the Abbey's daily service of ministering to Christ in the poor and healing souls.

Be assured of our prayers for you throughout this Year of Mercy.

Gifts in Memory

You may wish to make a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one.

Retreat Center

Your gifts to the Abbey's retreat center allow for the expansion and enhancement of the Abbey's life-changing spiritual formation programs and services. Your support will help provide scholarships for guests, who cannot afford the cost of a retreat, additional conferences and workshops, and necessary repairs and upgrades to the retreat center.

Youth Center and Chapel

Your gifts to the Abbey's youth center and chapel support the ongoing Christian formation of young people. At the center, youth groups, along with their VIRTUSĀ®-certified facilitators and chaperones, are provided room and board and recreation activities. The chapel offers daily Mass, and a sacred space for lectures and dialogues. Donations are essential to maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for spiritual growth and transformation.
