LENTEN SILENT RETREAT
Tuesday, March 5-Friday, March 8, 2019

During these days of silence at the monastery, the whole Church begins the sacred season of Lent. Short reflections will be offered daily with a special emphasis on the traditional Lenten practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. The desert silence and the Liturgies of the monastery will provide an atmosphere conducive to deep reflection. This is a wonderful opportunity to make our Lenten pilgrimage more fruitful this year.

Wednesday, March 20, 2019, 9:00a.m.-4:00p.m.

Life has way of making so many demands on our time and energy. Sometimes the harder we try the more frustrating it can become. Taking time out to slow down and refocus can do wonders for our mind, body and spirit.

Life often offers us many challenges but you do not have to go it alone. On this one-day retreat to be offered one Wednesday each month, you will learn some very valuable and workable techniques that can assist you in your daily life. Christ is present among us and offers us His "Light" to guide our way. It is possible to turn a life of chaos into a life of peace and calm.

2. ¿A qué tengo que darle vida nueva? 3. ¿A qué tengo que resucitar?

Presentador: Carlos Obando, Obl.OSB
